All the World's Low Power operators welcome to take a part in the Winter Days!
Date, time - December 26, 00.00 UTC to January 1, 23.59 UTC. The same period as the G-QRP Club's Winter Sports.
Bands - all HF including WARC around International Low Power frequencies.
Modes - all.
Power - less than 5 watts output CW & Digital or 10 watts PEP SSB
No special exchange, normal QSO including power information and WW-locator recommend.
Each station may operated on other bands or other modes at the same band.
Category:
- Home. Any radios, antennas and power supplies may be used. The armchair or sofa, air conditioner, fan etc may be used for your comfort. Also you can drink coffee or tea, prepare the food at gas or microwave oven, use DX-clusters and other Internet resourses, talk by cell-phone, have a rests etc without any limitation.
- Field. Any radios, non stationary antennas, only battery or solar energy may be used. You can use the tents, umbrellas, sheds for solar or rain protection. For drink'n'food preparation only fire or portable gas/gazoline oven may be used. Only portable foldout table and chair may be used. Only GPRS, Wi-Fi laptops, iPhones and other Internet wireless gadgets may be used. Photos required.
Participants can take a part in both categories.
The special Club 72 certificate will be sent for each operators.
No logs, daily result declaration form only required. The Referee save a rights to ask a full log in the case of any doubt. Fill the form your personally datas, date, the daily results in each category (QSOs per day / 2-way QSOs), short descriptions of radios, antennas, field positions, photos.
There are special prizes for "Field" operators:
- for the best home brew equipment;
- for the most extreme position.
The deadline for sending log-declaration is January, 11.
